Privacy notice

Last updated 3 September 2026

This notice explains how ADISAM LIMITED (“we”, “us”) handles personal data. We are the controller. Company number 11924330. Registered office: Unit 22 Cornwall Road Industrial Estate, Smethwick, England, B66 2JS. Email: adisamltd@outlook.com. We have not appointed a named Data Protection Officer.

What we collect

On this demonstration site we collect very little:

  • Bag contents and the cookie-notice dismissal flag, stored in your browser with localStorage. That data does not leave your device unless you later send it to us.
  • If you email us, or use the contact form (which opens your own email application), we receive whatever you choose to send: typically a name, email address and message.
  • The demonstration checkout form is processed in your browser. Submitting it does not transmit a paid order to us. If you still email us about a demo order, we will see the content of that email.

We do not run a customer account, we do not use Google Analytics on this site, and we do not sell lists of shoppers.

When live orders begin

To fulfil a clothing order we will need: name, email, delivery address, items ordered, size, and payment confirmation from our payment provider (not full card numbers). We may also keep a record of returns and complaints. That is the data needed to sell and support clothes.

Lawful bases (UK GDPR)

  • Contract — processing an order, delivery, payment and returns once live sales exist.
  • Legal obligation — tax, accounting, and consumer-law records.
  • Legitimate interests — answering email enquiries, keeping the shop secure, and improving the catalogue, balanced against your rights.
  • Consent — only if we later add optional email news or non-essential cookies, which we have not done.

Who we share with

We do not sell personal data. When live, we will share what is necessary with a payment provider, a delivery company, and (if we use one) an email or hosting provider, each under a contract that requires them to keep the data safe. We will not send marketing lists to other retailers.

International transfers

Our email is currently provided via Outlook. If that involves a transfer outside the UK, we will rely on the transfer tools approved under UK GDPR (for example, the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses), as applicable at the time.

Retention

  • Emails: for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry, then ordinarily up to 24 months.
  • Live orders and invoices: typically six years, to meet tax and accounting duties.
  • Browser localStorage: until you clear it or dismiss and later clear site data.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask for access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection, and (where processing is based on consent or contract and is automated) data portability. Email adisamltd@outlook.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We would rather put it right first if you write to us.

Children

This shop is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18 in order to sell clothes.
